Founder, The Vine Senior Services
Virginia Michelle Varnes is the founder of The Vine Senior Services, a compassionate organization dedicated to helping seniors and veterans make informed decisions about their care — whether they wish to remain in their homes or transition to assisted living. As a senior advocate, she goes above and beyond to ensure each individual understands and receives the benefits they deserve, including Medicare and other supportive programs that help them stay independent at home when possible.
With a degree in psychology and special education, Michelle has spent much of her life working with special needs children and volunteering for organizations supporting children with muscular dystrophy. Her lifelong dedication to service naturally evolved into advocating for seniors and veterans. She has managed a veteran home and a caregiving company, experiences that deepened her commitment to providing ethical, heart-centered support to the community.
Michelle’s community involvement includes volunteering with U.S. VETS, where she was honored as Volunteer of the Year. She also organizes veteran appreciation drives twice a year and hosts senior health fairs at the local VFW, connecting seniors and veterans with trusted resources and vital information.Known for her integrity, resourcefulness, and unwavering compassion, Michelle continues to be a trusted advocate and resource for families navigating the challenges of aging and caregiving.
